It only took 9 seconds to open the scoring on a Niagara Goal by Courtney
Luciano (assisted by Kelsey Snider) but after that it was a tight defensive
game. St Catharines added two (Victoria Greenhalgh and Nathalie Mac Donald
assists from Brook Waller (2) Sam Frattarol and Bridgette McMillan) in the
middle of the game and it took Niagara a long time to come back and fight
for the tie. Leila Kneabone tied it with the assists going to Kelsey Snider
and Courtney Luciano. Christine Pizzacalla was outstanding in the St
Catharines net.

It was a hard fought Physical battle in which #10 opened the scoring late in the second (assisted by Stephanie Frick and Stephanie McGill) Niagara Fought their way back with a great “sniper” goal from Vanessa Saxton, assisted by Alexandra Thatcher.

St Catharines Bruins 3 NF Rangers 2

The game started very slow with little action. St Catharines poured on the pressure in the second to lead 3-0 with goals from Lewis,Armstrong and Sarah Galway. The third period belonged to Niagara Falls as they stormed back with goals from Marlee Vanhelvert and Courtney Luciano. Last minute heroics from the Bruins goalie Ruddy were needed to preserve the win. The same two teams meet again on Thursday.

St Catharines again jumped to a 4-0 lead and controlled the game Niagara Falls made a valiant comeback that was too little too late.

The Rangers stretched their winning streak to 3 games with a solid effort against the Sharks. Cortney Luciano scored 3 for Niagara Falls, Jillian Anzovino and Leila Kneabone rounded out the scoring with assists going to Alex Thatcher (2), Marlee Vanhelvert (2),Katie Gibson (2), Kelsey Snyder and Nichole Van Natter.

Kennedy Bodfield scored for the sharks with Nadia Credico getting the assist.

The battle of Niagara continued with a very up paced game. Niagara on the Lake started fast and hard scoring 12 seconds into the game and keeping the pressure up. It was a tight game up until the third when the Rangers scored 3 unanswered goals to clinch the victory.
Point getters for the Wolves were Alison Berezuk with 2 goals and Erin Dyck with the assist.

Niagara Falls won its sixth in a row with a strong night from its defensemen who chipped in with 5 points. Aly Knott was sharp in net for the Rangers. Point getters fot Niagara Falls were; Lexie Herkimer 2g ,Kelsey Snyder 2g 1a, Courtney Luciano 1g 2a,Alex Thatcher2a and Katie Gibson 1a. Carly Calabres scored for the Typhoons with Nina Setacci and Lawren Coplen getting the assists.

After a 3 week layoff the NF Rangers came out flat and the SC Crushers took advantage and topped them 3-1. Scoring for the Crushers were Becky Terc 2g, Sydney Watts 1g, Erica D’amore 3a, Stephanie Frick 1a and Claire Semple 1a. April Cianfagna scored for the Rangers while Vanessa Saxton and Kelsey Snyder assisted.

Bailey Beaudry put on a show for the typhoons in net. She stopped all of the Rangers shots except for a late third period shot from April Cianfagna, assisted by Kelsey Snyder and Leila Kneabone. Erica jackson tied it up late in the game on a pass from Carly Calabrese and that’s where it ended.

NF Rangers 2 SC Storm 1

Morgan Ruzylo opened the scoring for the Storm with the assist going  to Katherine Hughes. The rangers needed almost 2 full periods to comeback but Courtney Luciano tied it late in the 2nd with assists to Kelsey Snyder and April Cianfagna. With 2 minutes left Vanessa Saxton got the go ahead goal with assists going to Nicole Van Natter and Kayla Daudelin.
