Great game for game #2 match between these two teams, but the Stingers
managed to beat Niagara Falls Thunder for the second game in a row at
home 3 - 2. Niagara Falls Thunder played a great game, and with
approximately 25 shots on the Stingers goalie but only got 1 passed her.
Courtney White, the stingers netminder played another great game,
stopping approximately 25 shots from the Thunder allowing only 1 to pass
by her and reach the back of the net. Leah Harman had another
great point game as she scored all 3 goals for the stingers, with Alyssa
Asadorian, Natalie Sutton and Kaylee White all getting assist
The lone goal for Niagara Falls Thunder was scored by Julia Vant, assisted by Samantha Meehan and Mackenzie Lostracco.

Outstanding game today as the St.Catharines Phantoms took on the Niagara Falls Team Spirit Photography Thunder. The Thunder managed to pull off their firstwin of the season by trampling the Phantoms at home 3 - 0. Not only didthe Thunder win their first game of the season but both goalies for the Thunder received shutouts and shared the #1 star of the game. Brittany Kosztyo played the first half of the game and stopped 18 shots from the Phantoms to play her part in the game and Tiana Roberto who played the second half of the game stopped as many as 16 shots to to do her part. First goal of the game was scored by Neenah Williams who was called up to play with the Thunder today and received the #2 star of the game as voted by the team. Rachel Housser and Sydney Pullia who played great each received #3 star as they both scored 1 goal each and rachel also added an assist to her points. Mackenzie Lostracco and Hannah Willick also each received an assist. Everyone was fantastic today and welcomed their first win and look forward to their next.
St.Catharines Phantoms 5 @ Niagara Falls Team Spirit Photography Thunder 5
Niagara Falls Thunder couldn't beat the Phantoms this time around for game 2 in one week. They did however manage to go goal for goal with them. Everytime the Phantoms scored, the thunder answered right back with a goal to tie up the game. With a final score of 5 - 5, both teams played fantastic and the goalies were outstanding once again on both teams.
Goal scorers for the Thunder were, Sydney Pullia with 2 goals and 1 assist, Hannah Willick with her first goal of the season, Hayley O'Donoghue with another goal to add to her points, and Neenah Williams who was called up from the Peewee team again helped the thunder with 1 goal, Mackenzie Johnston helped with 1 assist and Jennette Meehan got 2 assists.
Point getters for the Phantoms were Kristen Balanowski with 1 goal, Olivia Szymanski got 1 goal, Amber Woods also scored 1 goal and Ali Pauhl scored twice for the Phantoms. Assists were Sarah Borysko with 2, Kourtney Kacanik and Leah Fulton each with 1.
Niagara Falls Team Spirit Photography Thunder 1 vs. St.Catharines Jets 2
The Thunder and the Jets met up again for another nail biting game that saw the Jets get past the Thunder 2-1. When these two teams meet up it is always an exciting game. Brittany Kosztyo played a great game as usual, but the Jets were able to get 2 goals past her Sunday night in her half of the game. Tiana Roberto held off the Jets for a shutout in her part of the game in what was unfortunately her last game of the season with the Thunder. Jets goalie Jenna Watts played outstanding as she usually does against the Thunder, stopping a barage of shots and goal chances from the the Thunder. Hannah Willick scored the only goal for the Thunder with Sydney Pullia and Julia Vant helping her out and getting the assists.
Ashley Hope and Catharine Gay-Clark scored the 2 goals for the Jets with Katharines sister Kayla, Tiffany Stevenson and Keely Rush each marking 1 assist in the game.
The Thunder would like to thank Tiana Roberto for all her hard work this year with the team and we all wish her a speedy recovery. We're going to miss you on the ice.
Niagara on The Lake Wolves
visited the Niagara Falls Team Spirit Photography Thunder on Sunday for
their second match up of the season and what an exciting game it was.
The Wolves gave up a frustrating win to the Thunder as Niagara Falls
took down the Wolves 4 - 3. The Wolves came in to the 3rd period leading
the game 3 - 1, but the Thunder were determined to leave the ice with a
win and that's exactly what they did. The Thunder came back to score 3
goals in the 3rd period with Sydney Pullia scoring 2 of them and getting
1 assist for the Thunder. Emily Menard opened the scoring for Niagara
Falls in the first period and Rachel Housser also scored 1 goal and got 1
assist. Mackenzie Johnston, Hayley O'Donoghue and Mackenzie
Lostracco also helped with 1 assist each.
